CHILLIWACK, BC – A new British Columbia brewery and taproom is now open in Chilliwack’s Five Corners neighbourhood.

Bricklayer Brewing has been founded by Megan McDonald and Kris Schmidt, a couple from the nearby community of Agassiz.

The Bricklayer taproom has been open since mid-November, serving a selection of guest beers on tap while awaiting final approval to pour its own beer. That approval came through earlier this week, and three Bricklayer beers – Great Expectations IPA (6.5% abv), 2020 To Infinity Gin IPA (9% abv), and Burnin Down the House Smoked Table Beer (4.5% abv) – are now available on tap and in crowlers to go.

Bricklayer Brewing is open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily with the exception of Mondays. For more details, see the brewery’s Facebook page.
