Bellwoods Brewery and Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery Release Willi Bellson DIPA

TORONTO & AYR, ONBellwoods Brewery has announced the release of its second cross-province collaboration, this one with Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery.

Willi Belson DIPA (8% abv) is described as follows:

Each brewery’s recipe utilizes three hops — one American variety, one Australian, and one New Zealand — in delicious haze format. Is it an Equinox celebration beer to usher in positive spring potential? Perhaps not formally, but in our hearts, most certainly.

Bellwoods opted for a blend of Citra (US), Vic Secret (AUS), and Motueka (NZ) and gave it an extra dry hop to showcase dank flavours of stone(d) fruit, and aromas of… well, Willie Nelson. (Coles notes: apricot/weed/very yum).

Willibald’s version is bursting at the seams with citrus, mango and stone fruit meaning the Galaxy (AU), Nelson (NZ) and Mosaic (US) are all pulling their weight. The soft supple body, mild bitterness and dankness that would make Willie proud truly makes this a memorable one for all the right reasons.

Both beers are available now at their respective brewery retail stores and online shops.
