CALGARY, AB – Annex Ale Project has announced the slightly belated arrival of its beer for International Women’s Day 2021.

Non-Compliant Kettle Sour (7.5% abv) is described as follows:

Inspired by the graphic novel, Bitch Planet, by Kelly Sue Deconnick and Valentine De Landro, this beer is red, powerful, and assertive. Cranberry, raspberry, blood orange, and an ABV of 7.5% will smash through any preconceived notion of delicate sensibilities you may have previously held. Each swig of it is like a pleasantly acidic bath for your taste buds, and nothing like the acrid taste of being told to smile more. Brewed for those evolved enough to see femininity in all forms as palatable.

Non-Compliant is available now at the Annex retail store and online shop. Partial proceeds will be going to the Women’s Centre of Calgary.
