VANCOUVER, BC – 33 Acres Brewing has announced the release of two limited edition sour ales flavoured with local fruits.
BC Cranberry Sour (5.7% abv):
Brewed with barley, wheat and spelt and fermented with a special mixed culture in oak Foeder #3 this beer was refermented on BC sourced cranberries for a delicate berry character and complex acidity.
BC Cherry Nectar (7.7% abv):
A mixed culture dark sour refermented with impossible amounts of hand crushed Okanogan cherries in freshly emptied Syrah casks. Straddling the line between a velvety rich cherry wine and an aggressively fruit-forward oak fermented sour, the nectar contained within is fleeting and ephemeral.
Both beers are available in the 33 Acres retail store and web shop while supplies last.
